Our Alpha dumbbell rack is purpose-built to accommodate 8 pairs of hex dumbbells that are anywhere from 5-40 lb. while optimizing your exercise area through its vertical design. Crafted from it's sturdy 3x3" steel upright, the Alpha rack can also hold landmines, battle rope attachments, barbell holders, and plate holders.

Q: I have 8 sets of dumbbells from 5-40 lb. Will they all fit?
A: Absolutely! In fact, this Alpha rack was designed for a Hex DB combination of 10,15,20,25,30,35,40 and 45 lb. dumbbells, this will give you the most optimal spacing.
Q: I need to store my 50 lb. dumbbells. Will they fit on the bottom tier?
A: Yes, a pair of 50 lb. dumbbells will fit on the bottom tier, although the spacing will not be optional between tiers. For optimal spacing, we do not recommend that you exceed 50 lbs. on the bottom tier.
Q: I have 5 pairs of dumbbells and I can't decide between the Bravo rack or the Alpha rack. What do you recommend?
A: If you think you will someday expand your dumbbell collection, we recommend the Alpha rack so you can have space to grow. However, you can also expand into a horizontal rack at any point with our Expansion Kit.
Q: What's the handle space? Will my fingers be pinched?
A: The handle has 4.32" of space. This allows extra space compared to the standard vertical rack to avoid pinching fingers!
Q: How do I know if my dumbbell combination and type will fit this rack?
A: The most commonly used dumbbells for this rack are hex, urethane, and Peloton square dumbbells. However, to make sure your dumbbell combination will fit, please refer to our "Which Dumbbell Rack is Best For You?" video below.

A: Yes, you can take this rack apart and expand it into a 3-Tier Horizontal Rack with our Expansion Kit.

How much space does the alpha rack take?
The Alpha sits at 50 1/2″ with a 1.85 ft² footprint and was purpose-built to ensure stability. This is the best way to store your dumbbells when looking to maximize your space.
what dumbbell configuration is best for the Alpha rack?
Our Alpha rack holds 8 pairs of dumbbells and was designed to store a set of 5-40 lb. However, if you have 10-45, it will fit. Given the spacing at the bottom tiers, you could fit up to 50 lb. Anything outside of this, we recommend you check out our Fitting Guide to ensure your dumbbells fit!
Your dumbbell handle needs to be at least 5 inches for it to fit on the rack.
what accessories can I attach on the rack?
Our Alpha rack upright and base allows you to store landmines, battle rope anchors, barbell holders, and plate holders - all with the exact same footprint.
Besides the plate holder, each accessory comes in two variations depending on whether you want to attach it to the upright or the base.
will i pinch my fingers?
When designing our vertical dumbbell racks, pinched fingers was NOT an option for us. That's why we created a 4.32" gap within the dumbbell spacing. We provide the widest gap for vertical racks in the market.
I have a commercial gym. whats the best application for your racks?
Our racks make for efficient stations to implement to any fitness class, allowing each client to have access to their own dumbbells, plates, and workout stations.
is this difficult to assemble?
Absolutely not! As home gym owners, we know the struggle of assembling equipment with too many steps. The rack only requires 5 bolts and can really take just 5-10 minutes to put together. It really doesn’t get any easier than that!

I was looking for a dumbbell storage solution for my home/garage gym. Space was limited and I needed a rack to store 8 sets of dumbbells in a very small footprint.

Great looking rack thats built like a tank, expandable and matches other equipment in my gym so whats not to love.
Sure it may be pricier than some other option, but you also don’t need to worry about it tipping over and potentially causing injury.
Expect to wait about a month or so, but in the end its all worth it.
Came packaged very neat and tight, no damage upon arrival. No tools needed to assemble other than provided. Very worth it.
